Erik Suarez

Erik Suarez is a Venezuelan-born economist, writer, and policy analyst specializing in Latin American affairs, U.S. foreign policy, national security, and democracy.

He is former Executive Director of Youth and Democracy in the Americas and has worked with the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation’s Latin American Programs.

Erik's work has been published in The National Interest, RealClearWorld, USA Today, Impunity Observer, and other outlets. He holds a degree in Economics and International Relations from Penn State University.
